Paulus Ambunda's WBC Silver title bout against Singaporean Muhamad Ridhwan - which was initially scheduled to take place on the 29th of March at Singapore Indoor Stadium- has been postponed till further notice. Last year, former WBO champ Paulus Ambunda signed with Ringstar Boxing under the leadership of Founder and CEO Scott O'Farrell , who also doubles as Ridwan's promoter. Ambunda, who claimed the vacant IBO Super Bantamweight Title over Ridhwan last year, was supposed to meet Ridwan for the World Boxing Council's Silver featherweight title on the 29 of March in Singapore. O'Farrell however announced on Friday that due to certain developments and in the best interest of everyone they had to postpone the show to deliver the best possible fight on the global stage. O'Farrel stated that they always aim to put on shows of the highest standard to showcase a premium product and did not want to compromise that. He said the new date will be announced as soon as possible. Contacted for comment , Ambunda's trainer Imms Moses confirmed the postponement and said that he is still waiting for the promoters' official communication. Ambunda explained that he remains focussed and prepared for the bout.
