The 17th edition of the CANA Zone Four Championships, which is currently being held in Windhoek, is leaving a legacy for Namibian swimmers and local sport lovers says CANA's water polo division's vice-president Mary Kloppers. Mary Kloppers said she is happy with the attendance and involvement of the countries that are currently taking part in the CANA Zone four Swimming Championships in Windhoek. More than four-hundred swimmers from different countries have been active in the competition that has been held at different venues in Windhoek and Rehoboth since last weekend Saturday and will end on Wednesday . NBC spoke to Kloppers about what she thinks the event means to different participants and the region at large. “It's happening and we are all happy. We have good times and facilities are fantastic. We are running in time and very happy with it. We hope to leave you here with a better legacy here, so that you can carry with-it” Kloppers said. Next year's CANA Zone four Championship will be held in Zimbabwe.
