Namibia to host Rugby Africa Junior Barthes Trophy

Windhoek-Namibia Rugby will host the Rugby Africa Junior Barthes Trophy from 28th to the 31st of March 2018 in Windhoek. This tournament feature the National Under 20 teams of Namibia, Kenya, Madagascar and Zimbabwe. The winner of this tournament will play against the Northern African winner on the 12th of May, after which the African champion will qualify to participate in the Junior World Rugby Trophy later this year. The Namibian team has been in camp since the beginning of last week and is excited about the challenge of retaining their status as Rugby Africa U20 champions. Namibian U20 Head Coach, Roger Thompson, is optimistic about his team’s chances and is eager to showcase the talent of this young and exciting team.
