Okahandja United are still looking to win their first Namibia Premier League match since their promotion. The team played to a one - all draw against another relegation troubled team - Orlando Pirates -at Sam Nujoma Stadium Tuesday. Okahandja United came in to the game with five draws and three losses after their previous eight Premier League matches. They were one point ahead of their opponents Orlando Pirates who were on four points at the bottom of the table. Pirates had their first real chance fairly early, but Magnus Duncan's strike could not beat United goalkeeper Calvin Spiegel. Then, Pirates Central defender Immanuel Tjipundi hit the cross bar from a free kick. United striker Lorenzo Madjiet narrowly missed Paul Tjiposa's cross. Later on, Spiegel came to United's rescue when he spotted Merai Swartbooi's effort from close range. The first half ended in a goalless draw Thereafter, visitors started the second half as the better team but Himmekaruka Tjiroze missed the target with this header. Hans Gaeb nearly put his team in the lead with this free kick but the goalkeeper forced it out. That was before Orlando Pirates opened their scoring when Victory Gaseb scored after United defence were caught napping from the corner kick. Lucky Kakuva's team needed to hang on to win their second match of the season, but it was not to be for the team that only kept one clean sheet this season. Pirates goalkeeper Donavan Gai-nub could not avert Marco Van Wyk, who made it one all with two minutes remaining. As a result, the match ended one all between the two sides - a result that moved Orlando Pirates from the bottom of the table as they were immediately replaced by Civics. In the meantime, Okahandja United remain in 14th position despite having one point more.
