Special Olympic Namibia's Board of Directors has appointed Emilia Nzuzi and Werner Jeffery as New National Director and National Sport Director respectively. The announcement was made at the Special Olympics Namibia offices earlier on Tuesday. They officially resumed office on the 1st of August 2019 and are responsible for all the operational and administration matters of Special Olympics Namibia. The two will place among others to run programmes like Healthy Athletes and Healthy Smile, Law enforcement Torch Run and the Family Fun Day. The National Director position was previously occupied Simon Muinjo and the board applauded Muinjo for his contribution to the organisation.
