The 19th edition of the annual Top Score Seven-A-Side tournament was launched at the Ramblers Sports Field in Windhoek on Tuesday night. The Top Score Seven-A-side tournament is the biggest and most popular social football tournament in the country as it brings corporate and business teams together to fight for the bragging rights. The tournament provides a platform for employees to get to know and learn from each other when competing. “Today was just to bring all the teams together, to do the draw and engage with the sponsors. The tournament will start on Friday with matches to continue on Saturday. We hope to be done next month” senior brand manager of Namib Mills, Marne Bouwer said. Close to 80 teams will once again be competing for cash prizes and trophies when the action gets underway on Friday night. Kick-off time of matches is at six o'clock.
