Swapo Party Politburo member Verna Sinimbo has urged eligible voters to register for the upcoming national and presidential elections. 

She made the call while addressing Swapo party members at Rosh Pinah in the ||Kharas Region. 

Sinimbo stressed the need for the party's supporters to unite in support of the party's presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, and the party's noble objectives. 

She described Nandi-Ndaitwah as a knowledgeable, tested, and trusted cadre of the party. 

#NAMBIAVOTES2024 | ECN aims to register 1.7 million voters

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) aims to register more than 1.7 million eligible voters during its upcoming General Registration of Voters exercise, starting next week.

With less than 200 days left before the national elections on November 27, Namibia's electoral management body says it is on track with the activities of the electoral calendar.

The general registration of voters (GRV) is around the corner and will be running for 52 days, from the 3rd of June until the first of August.

Swapo Party pioneers urged to sensitise voters

The Swapo Party Regional Coordinator for the ||Kharas Region has urged the party's pioneers to sensitise eligible voters to go and register for the November general elections. 

Mathew Mumbala made the call at the Pioneers Movement regional elective conference at Keetmanshoop. 

The Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) is mandated by the party's constitution to be custodians of the Pioneers Movement and thus must ensure its structures are active.
