A 10 year old boy has been charged with the murder of his 23 year old cousin. The murder took place at Rehoboth in the Hardap Region on Sunday. The boy allegedly shot and killed the deceased with a nine-millimeter pistol at the Kuiltjies recreation area. Nampa established that the boy's father made a first appearance in the Rehoboth Magistrate's Court on Monday, on a charge of negligent handling of a firearm. A NamPol officer at the town told Nampa that a date for the appearance of the boy was yet to be set. The minor was released into the care of his mother due to his age.
