Cases of taxi drivers and passengers falling victim to robberies are on the increase in Windhoek. The Windhoek City Police Chief, Abraham Kanime, says such crimes saw a spike in 2021 and there seems to be no end in sight. He, therefore, cautions taxi drivers and passengers to be vigilant.
