SWAPO party's Vice President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah told the National Assembly that the party has not received the now dubbed "Fishrot money". She was responding to Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) leader, McHenry Venaani's question following the revelation by one of the Fishrot accused, Mike Nghipunya. Nandi-Ndaitwah said it is nowhere in the party's records that such money or transactions took place. Countering on Nandi-Ndaitwah's answer, Venaani cautioned her that denying the allegations in the National Assembly is under oath and should it be established at a later stage that she lied to parliament, he will hold her accountable and open a police case against her among other actions.
