There is no help yet for Nikanol Shipweya, a resident of Windhoek's Havana Information Settlement who has been paralysed for 16 years after he was allegedly injected with the wrong medication. His search for help ended in vain as health professionals whom he approached reportedly referred Shipweya to the one who treated him, citing that the damage was already done.
