The newly elected vice-president of the Swapo party, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says she is committed to work with fellow party members to advance the party's agenda. The steadfast Deputy Prime Minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is the first woman in the history of the Swapo party to be elected vice president. She overwhelmingly received 552 votes out of 763, to land the position.
