Public entities should be capacitated to ensure full compliance to the Procurement Act, including the development of procurement plans, internal procurement structures and maintenance of records. This is recommended in the annual report of the Public Procurement Unit for the 2017/2018 and 2019/2020 financial years tabled in the National Assembly on 13 October 2021.
