African Stars football club have roped in the services of Ghanaian Coach Mohammed Gargo as they want to cement their place in African Football. With about a month to go before African Stars engage their opponents from Rwanda in the first leg of the CAF Championship, the team has roped in the services of Mohammed Gargo, who will take over the team. Former trainer Bobby Samaria has been appointed by NFA as an Interim coach of the Brave Warriors for the Chan tournament. Ghanaian coach Gargo - who is not new to Namibian Football - previously had a short spell at Tura Magic. He told NBC Sport that his first task is to make African Stars become more competitive at CAF Championships. “This is a great opportunity for me I'm already familiar with Namibian Football and I have a very good team. I believe if we work together we will take the team further, I want African Stars to be a household name in African Football” Gargo said. When asked about his contract at Stars, Cargo explained that they are still negotiating. His task right now focuses on the CAF Championships but his aim is to sign a long term deal with Stars and bring more trophies to the club.
