Brave Warriors eye the scalp of Eritrea in 2nd leg of the World Cup Qualifier

The Brave Warriors are eyeing the scalp of Eritrea when the two nations meet again in the deciding leg of their 2022 World Cup qualifiers at the Sam Nujoma Stadium Tuesday evening. When the two nations square up tomorrow evening, one thing on the players' mind will be to win. For the Brave Warriors another win under their belt will see their passage to the next round of the qualifiers while a victory of 2-0 or more than that will see Eritrea in the next stage of the qualifiers. This means the match will be of importance for the two countries. After winning the first-leg 2-1 in Asmara, the home team will carry the favourite tag, but judging by the way Eritrea were playing in that defeat, they are no push-over either. Who knows - maybe they are here with a masterplan to turn the tables in their favours this time around. For Bobby Samaria's squad, the onus will be left with them to close all gates at the back while captain Peter Shalulile is expected to start the match in the same scoring mood he was in when they were in Eritrea. With local fans expected to turn up in their droves there is no room for failure from the Brave Warriors, who started their interim coach's tenure on a positive note. Come one, come all, and those at home, NBC TV will bring you the action as it unfolds live to the comfort of your living room. Kick-off time is at seven.
