Debmarine Namibia Cup quarter finals set for Sam Nujoma stadium this weekend.

Windhoek - The mega of Namibian football, Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek will host this weekend’s Debmarine Cup quarter-finals Friday and Saturday as the involved teams battle it for places in the semi-finals of the cash-cow competition. Tura Magic will face off Civics on Friday night at 19H00 and on Saturday three more matches will be played. Golden Bees from Outjo, the only lower division team left in the competition will confront Black Africa at 15H00, before Unam and Blue Waters match at 17H00. The final quarterfinal showdown will be between NPL champions-elect African Stars and Eleven Arrows at the same venue at 19H00. The winners will progress to the semi-finals to be played on the weekend of the 12-13 May, with the final to take place on the 26th of May. Entrance tickets for this weekend's action are available on Computicket and at Football House for N$ 30 each. The overall winners will walk away with a cheque worth N$ 500 000 while the losing finalist receives N$ 250 000 and each losing semi-finalist gets N$ 150 000. All individual awards will amount to N$ 95 000, that includes N$ 2000 for the best player of every match leading up to the final. Each Man of the Match also get to choose a charity organization of his choice that will receive N$ 2000 from Debmarine Namibia as part of ploughing back and enriching lives beyond the field of play.
