FIFA extends the mandate of the NFA Normalisation Committee

World football governing body FIFA over the weekend announced the extention of the NFA Normalisation Committee to the 15th of October this year. The decision by FIFA to extend the mandate of the NFA Normalisation Committee came as they were alerted by the body about the fact that the remaining time was not enough for them to finish all their work. According to the Chairperson of the NFA Normalisation Committee, next on their radar will be to organise the Electoral Congress before the 15th of October, sort out the issue of the dormant lower divisions and to ensure good governance of the Association going forward. So far the NFA normalisation has passed the test of making sure that the Brave Warriors took part in the Cosafa Cup, and prepare the participation of the Brave Warriors in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt from the 21st of June. The Brave Warriors will play against Ivory Coast, South Africa and Morocco at the continental showpiece, at which they will try to register their first win ever after failure to do so in 1998 and 2008.
