Haikali is the new NFA president

Ranga Haikali is the new Namibia Football Association's President after he overwhelmingly won the election against Johnny Doeseb in the 28th NFA Congress held at the Safari Court in Windhoek. After the NPL suspension, the Congress was left with only 22 votes, meaning that the winner needed only 11 plus one votes to be confirmed in their respective positions. Haikali was voted for by 20 members, while Doeseb managed to get only two votes. The new President said in his acceptance speech that he must be given time to put his plans forward. Haikali got the top job without a league in the country. Doeseb who lost the contest against Haikali congratulated the new president. Izack Fredericks was voted as the first vice President while Rudolf Haingura took the 2nd vice president position. The executive members are Nettie Cloete, Ingy Hiangumbi, Peter Ndjulu, Ferdinard Hausiku, Shali Amakali, Earnest Joy and Kenneth Gaoseb.
