The President of the Namibia Hockey Union Marc Nel said there were only a few weekends left of playing fixtures to complete the Bank Windhoek National Hockey league, before the State of the Emergency was declared after the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. The Saints Hockey club have been the frontrunners in both the men and women's league. We still have three weekends left of fixtures, this will commence as soon as we are back again to normal. All the civil works, the leveling, the tarring, the drainage and paving around the turf are completed, while only the shock pads and actual plastic grass mat, electrical score board and players and official dugout needs to be put in for competition.
