Indongo working tireless in gym, motivated to climb back to the top

Windhoek-The former three time world champions Julius "Blue Machine" Indongo is working hard in the gym with hopes of regaining his pride in the ring. Indongo, who is back in the country following his last fight in USA, is now training under the eagle eye of Imms Paulus at the newly established AC Boxing and Fitness Gym. Namibia's most decorated boxer-Julius Indongo is back in the gym, but this time around with former trainer Imms Paulus, who also assisted him when he won three world titles. Indongo, a 2008 Olympian, lost to Terence Crawford in the undisputed pound to pound challenge last year, before losing to Regis Prograis for the interim WBC title this year. Despite suffering defeats in both title contests, the 35 years old Indongo still has high hopes for a return to the top again. “I am still contracted with my American promotions, whenever I have a fight will go to America for Preparations. It's only that I have come from a defeat, so I was given some time off to recover. Currently I am working with my mentor Imms Moses in his gym for fitness”Indongo said. The lanky, former WBA/IBO and IBF world champion, also revealed that he and his trainer Imms Moses have big plans in the pipeline for local boxers. “We are planning to open up doors or other local boxers. We will have a team of two and three boxers that we will hand over to the Dibella Promotions”said Moses. More information about the selected boxers will be announced at a later stage.
