Delano Muller, 2019 Junior Sportsman of the year, as part of his initiative, ' Making sports accessible to everyone together", shared some of his expertise as well as various sporting items with youngsters in Walvis Bay recently. Delano Muller kicked off the initiative last year and although things are still moving considerably slowly, nothing seems to be stopping the young superstar from reaching his goal. Last week, he donated 13 soccer balls, a rugby ball, soccer shoes, caps, sweatbands, goalkeeper gloves, a watch, medals and a golf cart with a full set of clubs to those in need of the equipment. Some of these items were donations, whereas he bought a set of golf clubs and soccer balls from his own pocket. Muller believes that sport has a unique way of making a positive impact on society, whether it's helping children, communities or even nations - so according to him, sports make a difference on a daily basis. Muller also expressed that the country is facing a difficult time and that the youth have to learn to stand together, support each other and in unity can face a lot of obstacles together. He wants to encourage his fellow youth to support and respect each other, and asks the public to support him in this project.
