On Thursday, the MTC Nestor "Sunshine" Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy conducted a face-off for all boxers who will participate in the 'Early Christmas Gift' boxing bonanza this coming Saturday at the Windhoek Country Club and Resort. Eleven bouts are scheduled for the Early Christmas Gift event, where the main fight will see Jeremia "Lowkey" Nakathila trading blows with Peter Pambeni from Zimbabwe for the WBO Global Junior Lightweight title. Pambeni, who has fought four times in Namibia and obtained different titles in the process, is once again in Windhoek to challenge Nakathila for the WBO Global title. Both boxers did not say much at today's face-off. They however promised to give their all in the ring. "I promise you, I'm going to destroy Pambeni just come and see how I'm doing to do it. I want to show you this is my time, so I prepared hard. Pambeni' history will come to and end this time around just come to the Windhoek Country club and come and see it" Nakathila said. The visiting Pambeni, who is no stranger to Namibia, plea for fairness from the judges during the fight. "I wish that justice will prevail so that we can enjoy the fight. You see I'm not good outside the ring, but behind I will come out. I don't know what will happen in the ring" Pambeni said. The event will kick off on Saturday at 18h00. All tickets are on sale for N$200-00
