Charles Eichab has been welcomed as the new President of the Namibia Chess Federation (NCF). He was elected on 30th November 2019 in Windhoek, Namibia. In a media statement, the African Chess Confederation (ACC) saluted Eichab and the entire Namibian Chess Community and said that they were looking forward to good working relations with them. ACC further said that they are pleased with the manner in which NCF passes power from one president to the other. Eichab stands out as an accomplished chess manager and strong chess player, holding the title of Candidate Master (CM) which was bestowed upon him at the World Chess Olympiad of 2008 that was held in Dresden, Germany. He’s also a Licensed FIDE Arbiter (FA) among many of his other accolades
