Rukoro continue as NFA Secretary General

Windhoek-A Namibia Football Association Emergency Committee -led by Frans Mbidi- held a press conference on Thursday at Soccer House where they announced that Barry Rukoro will continue as Secretary General of the Association until the 28th of April this year, when the NFA Executive Committee meets in Omuthiya to pave the way forward. Barry Rukoro has been reinstated as the Secretary General of the Namibia Football Association until the 28th of April when the Executive Committee will meet in Omuthiya. “The Emergency Committee held a meeting this morning where number of resolution where taken that are aimed at Normalising situation until the NFA Executive meeting to be held in Omuthiya this month and one of them was a decision to let the Secretary General continue with is work in office”said the NFA president. Asked about Barry Rukoro's suspension by COSAFA Mbidi said they were still in the waiting process. “We wrote a letter to COSAFA for them to give us more information about his suspension and we are seeking legal advice on the way forward as we feel COSAFA was not clear in their letter address to us about Mr. Rukoro suspension currently we are not at liberty to pronounce ourselves on the matter.”Mbidi said. The NFA Emergency Committee consists of the President and his two deputies, First Vice President Dr. Naftal Ngalangi and Second Vice-President Ludwig Crooks Nunuheb.
