Samaria waits for NFA NC directive regarding his status quo

Brave Warriors interim coach Bobby Samaria is waiting for a directive from the NFA's Normalization Committee as they are yet to decide about his future with the national side. This was revealed by Samaria after the national team played to a goalless draw against Comoros on Sunday. Samaria's first assignment was to take the Brave Warriors through the African Nations Championship (Chan) qualifiers, where he advanced with 2 goals to nil on aggregate against Comoros. While still waiting to play the second phase of the qualifiers, the Brave Warriors will now prepare to play Eritrea for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Finals Preliminaries. According to Samaria, they are waiting on NFA's leadership directive. " We are waiting on the Normalization Committee whether I will be going ahead with the team's preparation for the world cup qualifiers or not" Speaking earlier to NBC's Sport Desk, NFA Normalization Committee Chairperson Hilda Basson- Namundjebo said the committee will be deliberating on this issue soon. For the 2020 CHAN Qualifiers, Namibia will now take Madagascar in the final round of the qualification between the 20th of September and 18th of October 2019. The CHAN competition is scheduled to take place in Cameroon.
