Swapo Party presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says she is ready to lead Namibia and continue the work where her predecessors left off.

Nandi-Ndaitwah remarked this during a Swapo Party rally held at Outapi in the Omusati Region.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has officially released the Final Voters' Register ahead of the highly anticipated national elections set for November 2024. 

The announcement was made on Monday at the ECN Head Office in Windhoek.

The Landless People's Movement's (LPM) Chief Change Campaigner and presidential candidate Bernardus Swartbooi promised to eradicate poverty.

Swartbooi said this during the official launch of the party's 2024 manifesto in Rundu, Kavango East Region.

Swapo Party Vice President and presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says poverty alleviation, hunger, and drought interventions are receiving attention from the government, which has set a budget of N$825 million for the drought programme for 2024-2025.

President Nangolo Mbumba has called on Swapo Party members and supporters to go out in large numbers and vote for its presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, on November 27th.

Swapo Party Vice President and presidential candidate, Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, said the government, through the party leadership, continues to make great strides in the provisions of education, health services, and overall development in the Kunene Region. 

The Body of Christ Party (BCP) has launched its manifesto and announced nominated candidates for the National Assembly at Ondangwa.

The Action Democratic Movement (ADM) is adamant about securing a two-thirds majority in the National Assembly come November 27th. 

Party president Vincent Kanyetu made the remarks at a media conference at Rundu, where the party released the names of its national secretaries. 

The Electoral Court has dismissed Rally for Democracy and Progress' founding member Kandy Nehova's application to interdict Mike Kavekotora from electing and submitting a parliamentary list of the RDP to the ECN.
