President Hage Geingob says he looks forward to working with the new President of Vietnam, Vo Van Thuong, on matters of mutual concern and interest to strengthen relations between the two countries.

Dr. Geingob said this as he congratulated Vo Van Thoung on his election on the first of March.

The Head of State said the election demonstrates the confidence the Communist Party of Vietnam, the government, and the people have placed in Thoung's capacity to lead the country to continuous development and prosperity.
