The president of the Keetmanshoop Show Society, Charles Josob has called on local SMEs to take advantage of platforms such as the annual Keetmanshoop Show which is aimed at creating an enabling environment for SMEs to do business.
Josob made the remarks during the announcement of the 2023 Keetmanshoop Agricultural and Industrial Show dates.
Visitors and exhibitors can now diarise this year's dates, as the much-anticipated show will take place from the 31st of October to the 4th of November.
"We would like to thank the Keetmanshoop Municipality, the ||Karas Regional Council all our stakeholders and partners for their continuous support for the past years and we are hopeful that they once again commit themselves to continue supporting us to have a successful and the best event in Keetmanshoop in the ||Karas Region, it is now my honour to announce that it will take palace as from the 31st of October 2023 until the 4th of November 2023 at the show grounds at Westdene Keetmanshoop."
The Acting Chief Regional Officer in the ||Kharas Regional Council, Benny Diergaardt says that the discovery of oil, gas and the subsequent production of Green Hydrogen will have various spin-offs for the local businesses.
"I just want to confirm that as a council we are standing by the Keetmanshoop Expo and we will support them again this year then also going into the future but I really call on you all, please support these people so that we can make a huge success of what we have started with."
