The Governor of Kavango East is irked by the state of the floating bridge at the Sarasungu Border Post. 

The bridge was initially only supposed to be a temporary measure, but it's been 11 years since it was attended to. 

Disgruntled former employees of Marula Conservation Park and Lodges have accused their employer of mistreatment, unfair dismissal and unpaid severance packages.

However, the lodge owners have dismissed the allegations as unfair and baseless.

AMIRA, through the Amira Elia Alliance, has donated N$10,000 to the Miss Namibia 2025 organisation, aimed at supporting titleholders and advancing women's empowerment initiatives.

The Namibia Buses and Taxi Association (NABTA)'s Secretary General, Pendapala Nakathingo, has warned public transport operators against overcharging commuters and urged them to adhere to the approved tariff guide during the festive season, a practice that has become a recurring trend over the years.
