The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation (MIRCO) has urged the Ministry’s management to effectively implement strategies.
During a management retreat, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says management needs to understand the tools at their disposal, such as skills development and human and financial capacities, for effective strategic plan implementation.
She noted that the retreat will provide a conducive platform to reflect on MIRCO’s achievements over the past six years and to draw from the lessons learned as a basis for future planning.
Nandi-Ndaitwah hopes that the retreat will yield successful deliberations, with the ultimate goal of developing an addendum to the Ministry’s Strategic Plan 2017-2022/2023, which will guide operations for the next two years, 2023-2025, as per the charge handed to all government offices, ministries, and agencies in anticipation of the new National Development Plan 6.
