The Prime Minister of the Netherlands says his country will not interfere in the ongoing negotiations between Namibia and Germany on genocide reparations.

Mark Rutte was responding to media questions on whether the Netherlands would support the quest of some descendants of the genocide victims.

The groups claim to be excluded from the N$18 billion genocide reparation package reached after more than six rounds of talks between the Namibian and German Governments.

The Namibian government has consistently denied the claims of exclusion, as the agreement has yet to be signed by either party.

Dutch Premier Mark Rutte sees no involvement by his country in this matter.
