The Office of the Prime Minister says it is working to ensure that public servants are responsive to the needs of the people.
This assurance was given by the Executive Director, I-Ben Nashandi.
Namibia will be celebrating Africa Public Service Day in the next two weeks.
The 2023 celebration will mark the 9th Continental Africa Public Service Day, and it will be held under the theme "The African Continental Free Trade Area will require a fit-for-purpose African public administration to succeed."
Africa Public Service Day is driven within Agenda 2063 and aims, amongst others, to discover innovations, reward excellence in the public sector, motivate public servants to further promote innovation, enhance professionalism in the public service, and document and share best practises for possible replication within a country as well as across the African continent.
The office has also created a platform for public engagement.
Africa Public Service Day will be celebrated in the Zambezi Region.
