The 31st of July is commemorated annually as Africa's Women's Day.
It is celebrated to honour the contributions that African women made in the liberation of Africa from colonialism and apartheid while also recognising the vital role that women continue to play in the continent's development.
In celebration of the Pan African Women's Organisation turning 60 years old, former Miss Namibia Michelle McLean sent a special message.
