President Hage Geingob has reminded citizens of their duty to take part in the ongoing Namibian Population and Housing Census.
Dr. Geingob and First Lady Monica Geingos were enumerated a short while ago at their family residence in Windhoek.
The Head of State also appealed to commercial farmers to cooperate and grant access to the enumerators.
His plea follows reports of some farmers locking their gates and others refusing to provide the correct information.
President Geingob says statistics are important as they provide direction for planning and the overall development process.
