The Otjomuise Arts Festival's 2023 edition kicked off in Windhoek. It is a platform that aims to allow artists to showcase their creativity.

This year, the festival incorporated the environmental sustainability theme in partnership with the National Botanic Garden.

The event is co-organised between the National Theatre of Namibia and the Goethe-Institut Namibia and has proven a vibrant cultural platform since its inception almost three years ago.

The Public Relations Officer at the National Theatre of Namibia, Desiree Mentor, says the festival offers a diverse range of arts activities at various locations around the city.

The festival takes place every Wednesday until December, featuring outdoor activities and public engagements. 

Local artist, John Kalunda, also known as Blackforce, has invited more artists to take part in the festival.,
