President Hage Geingob has congratulated Felix Tshisekedi following his re-election as President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

President Geingob says he looks forward to continuing to work with President Tshisekedi to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries for their prosperity.

Dr. Geingob also looks forward to working with his DRC counterpart to continue championing African unity through SADC and the promotion of an integrated and prosperous continent through the African Continental Free Trade Area.

The DRC held presidential, legislative, provincial, urban, municipal, and local council elections on December 20 last year.
