In a heartfelt display of national unity and mourning, residents of Rehoboth came together to honour the memory of the late President Dr. Hage Geingob. The tribute event saw the community engaging in worship through singing.

Deputy Minister of Higher Education Natalia |Goagoses at the Rehoboth memorial service asked that, rather than long speeches, the gathering should let God lead through with praise and worship.

The event began with candle lighting at the main table, followed by residents doing the same.

Comforting hymns dominated the event as speakers reflected on the late President's role as an icon and steward of democracy.

The service was dominated by songs in remembrance of the late president.
