This year's Central Committee Meeting was not the same without its Party President, who died last month. 

A sombre moment could be observed as fellow party members sang political songs in remembrance of the fallen giant. 

The main chair of the late President, Dr. Hage Geingob, was covered with a wreath and leaned towards the table, marking his absence. 

A moment of silence in remembrance of the late President Dr. Hage Geingob was observed, followed by a remembrance song. 

It was a sad moment for the leadership and fellow comrades in attendance.

The Central Committee is deliberating behind closed doors on the way forward for the party leadership, especially as the party prepares for the presidential elections in November this year.
