The Ondangwa Town Council has made a generous contribution towards educational infrastructure by donating bricks towards the construction of a school hall at Shinime Shiivula Primary School in the town.

This donation marks a significant step towards improving the school's facilities and the educational environment for its students.

School authorities wrote to the Ondangwa Town Council last year requesting support for the construction of a school hall.

The principal of Shinime Shiivula Primary School, Oskar Kashululu, said the school still needs more support to complete the hall and called on the private sector to come on board.

The Chief Executive Officer at Ondangwa, Ismael Namgongo, said the completion of the hall can also be used for community gatherings, as there is no hall in the area currently.

Before the construction of the shade, the school assembled learners under trees while bigger meetings, including parent meetings, were held at paid-for venues.
