The Swapo Party Regional Coordinator for the ||Kharas Region, Mathew Mumbala, has called on the party's elders council to remain united and educate the nation on the upcoming elections. 

He made the remarks at the official opening of the Swapo Party Elders Council Regional Executive meeting at Keetmanshoop. 

Mumbala also urged the party elders to embark on a voter registration campaign to ensure that the eligible population registers to vote in the national elections on November 27. 

The Chairperson of the Assigned Leaders to ||Kharas Swapo Party Elders Council, Tuulikki Abraham, urged the council to devise a campaign strategy to ensure the party and its presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, emerge victorious.

The Elders Council's Regional Information and Mobilisation Secretary, Johannes Kisting, says the Swapo Party remains committed to the fight against poverty and unemployment.
