Thirty communal farmers received quality goat rams from the Berseba Constituency Office to enhance the quality of their livestock and transform their farming.

They also received training in animal husbandry, understanding farming cycles, and how to transform and follow creative farming system management.

The Councillor of Berseba Constituency, Jeremias Goeieman, urged farmers to venture into a shared community of quality animals and sell among them, as this could mean good-quality produce and price sharing within the farming communities.

"We can venture into selling our lambs ourselves, and I would advise you to put five to 10 young rams aside from your productions and negotiate with your neighbours. By changing the quality of our animals, by having these qualities rams so that our animals can be sold at better prices, you receive training, and I am sure this training will guide you."

Goats for Africa - Styd Breeder Stephan Botes says, "The key focus for us here today in the ||Kharas Region, especially Berseba Constituency, was to come educate and inform some of our communal farmers, and we had quite an informative session. In terms of information, we shared some animals we provided, which we are going to reinvest in our local area."
