Namibia Breweries Limited has met with President Nangolo Mbumba to discuss matters related to the brewery's business.
This follows the last meetings held with the late President since Heineken became its main shareholder.
The visit encompasses the business' duty to the Namibian nation, as one of the largest beer producers in the country, to update President Mumba on its business.
President Mbumba welcomed the business executives at the statehouse in honour of the partnership between government and the private sector.
The team of executives assured the president of the business' continued steady management under Dutch multinational brewer Heineken, including no expected job losses and assurance that the national identity of the beer will remain as is.
The brand further emphasised that the partnership with the Dutch beer-brewing giant is a strategic move to increase the capacity of Namibian-brewed beer and penetrate the international market.
