The Press Secretary, Alfredo Hengari, highlighted the relationship between Namibia and Tanzania, saying it has deep historical roots, strengthened by mutual respect and shared struggles.
Dr. Hengari also detailed the activities the President will participate in. "The President will also be visiting the manufacturer that is advancing commerce between Namibia and Tanzania. I must say this is a very important visit, in terms of its symbol. I must also emphasize to students of history and of the liberation struggle that they will recall the consultative meeting that was held at Tanga by SWAPO, where progress in the advancing liberation struggle gained serious momentum, so it's an important country in that regard between the ruling party of Namibia and the party of the revolution of Tanzania."
