A group of students from the International School of Paris in France are on a ten-day trip to Namibia to engage with learners of Omuhaturua Primary School in the Epukiro constituency.

The French scholars are on an exposure trip aimed at exchanging ideas and educational skills with students at Omuhaturua Primary School on the importance of education.

The group representative, Sabine Martin, says the team is also working on various sustainable development projects with the primary school.

The Head Girl at Omuhaturua Primary School, Ngurije Kauami, stressed that the initiative to tap into the international group of scholars has been an eye-opener.

The school principal, Sylvia Kavari, was over the moon.

The engagement session was also attended by various regional leaders and community members.

The trip was made possible by the Catherine Bullen Foundation, which continues to support the school in various aspects of development.
