The death of Katrina Hanse-Himarwa has robbed Namibia of a patriot who fought courageously for the birth of an independent nation in which the Namibian child could gain access to education and pursue their dreams.

It is with these sentiments that President Nangolo Mbumba comforted the Hanse and Himarwa families at the residence in Katutura.

President Mbumba visited the Hanse-Himarwa family home, where he signed the book of condolence for a comrade whose rise in politics he has witnessed both pre- and post-independence.
