Swapo Party's Deputy Secretary General, Uahekua Herunga, has called on Namibians to go out in numbers on November 27 to vote for the party's presidential candidate, Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
Herunga addressed a Swapo Party mini-rally at Amutanga in the Oshana Region.
Herunga says Nandi-Ndaitwah is a true and tested leader who shuns corruption, making her an ideal candidate to lead the country.
"Therefore, make sure that we have our more than two-thirds majority there for her to not hesitate in terms of appointing competent ministers. Let me remind the Swapo party leaders in the next government of Netumbo NN that our sole dedication is to deliver and deliver and nothing more and nothing less."
He says that under the leadership of the ruling party, the government has brought development to the citizens and improved their living conditions.
Changes have been noted in areas such as the construction of schools and health facilities, improved sanitation, the expansion of rural electrification, clean drinking water, and road networks, making Namibia one of the countries in Africa with safer roads.
"I am informed by the information from the UN that Namibia is the second country in terms of providing portable water to its citizens. I am saying here that Okatana has good roads; Namibia is no. 1 in the African continent in terms of roads, and they are maintained by your Swapo party government."
Swapo Party Coordinator for Oshana Region Werner Iita also called on all to support Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah.
"Our president in waiting, Netumbo NN, has substantial credential knowledge and indeed excellent leadership; you cannot even compare her to somebody else; therefore, let us go and vote for comrade Netumbo NN, and it is Swapo Party, viva comrade Neumbo."
On the occasion, ten people joined Swapo.
