The Welwitschia Private Hospital has inaugurated a N$16 million paediatric ward to accommodate the high demand for beds.

The capacity of the paediatric ward at Welwitschia Private Hospital has increased from 11 to 19 beds.

With the upgrade, the hospital recruited an additional eight nurses.

The Erongo Governor, Neville Andre, and Walvis Bay Mayor, Trevino Forbes, commended the investment by the private hospital as they believe it will impact the community.
