The Namibia Teenage Mother and Child Organisation (NaTeMeCo), in collaboration with KPMG, held a charity event in Windhoek's Havana Informal Settlement, where they handed out sanitary pads and nappies to cater for teenage mothers and babies.
Locals flocked to the venue where they were handed the items and enjoyed a meal prepared by the organisers.
The founder of NaTeMeCo, Toini Nikodemus, expressed concerns for young mothers and is therefore seeking assistance from members of the public and business owners to donate to the organisation to further assist girls and young women who need help.
