Oshikoto Regional Governor Penda ya Ndakolo has called on all Namibians to attend the Heroes' Day commemoration, set to take place tomorrow in Omuthiya, the capital of the region.
Governor Ya Ndakolo highlighted that the day will offer a fitting opportunity for the nation to come together and honor both the living and fallen heroes and heroines of Namibia.
He assured the public that preparations are complete and promised an event that will not only impress but also provide a reflective moment for all attendees. The town has been busy with rehearsals over the past few weeks to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
This year's 34th edition of Heroes' Day will be celebrated under the theme, Honoring Our Martyrs. The gates of Omuthiya Recreational Park, where the event will be held, will open at 6:00 AM.
