The Minister in the Presidency, Christine ||Hoëbes, says it remains a government priority to provide each Namibian with a decent roof over their head. 

She made this comment at the official opening of the Affordable Housing Expo.

The country's first affordable housing Expo, which is accessible to the public for the next three days and promises to offer useful insights into the Namibian housing market, was officially opened this afternoon.

||Hoëbes highlighted that providing affordable housing is a top priority for the government.

||Hoëbes also addressed concerns regarding the pace and high costs associated with housing and land services.

The expo is expected to explore innovative solutions, policy recommendations, and partnerships to mitigate the housing crisis and ensure that affordable housing becomes a reality for all Namibians.
